To parents and children, welcome to year 6.

I hope that you have all had a wonderful summer break and that the children are ready for their final year at primary school - let's make it a fun one! We have lots of exciting topics over this term as we head through autumn and we will be building on what the children have already learnt to become experts! 

Our book this term will be 'Survivors' by David Long and Kerry Hyndman and also 'King of the Cloud Forest' by Michael Morpurgo. If you would like to have a look in your book collection at home or purchase this for your child, they will then be able to read along easier in class. 

PE will be on a Tuesday and will start next week, Tuesday 12th September. Children come into school dressed in their PE kits on that day. As the weather is going to be lovely and warm this week, children can continue to wear their summer uniform.
