I hope that you are all well and the first week of lock down has provided you with time to enjoy being together as a family. We have loved hearing what people have been up to at home, please feel free to send us updates and we will publish these each Friday for Good Mentions whilst school remains closed. If you send us photos we will use these on our school website and facebook page.
Please remember that we are not expecting parents to provide a home school, we would rather your child(ren) complete some home learning. We understand that this is a very unsettling time for children as they are used to coming to school each weekday, playing outside with their friends, seeing their teachers and school staff. They need to be shown love and kept secure, both of which parents are in the best position to provide. Take time to enjoy family life, cook together, wash the cars, make dens, take time to learn new skills (telling the time, tying laces, knitting, sewing), set yourself a challenge, but most of all stay safe.
Although the office will be running a reduced hours service, please do contact school if there is anything that you need. At SSPP we have an extremely strong school community and we know that this will continue to survive until such a time we can open again safely to welcome all children and families back again.
