PE Funding

The government in England has provided funding of £150 million per annum for the last three academic years. This funding has been jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and will see money going directly to primary schools to spend on improving the quality of physical education and sport for all their children.

Funding for schools is calculated by the number of primary-aged pupils (between the ages of 5 and 11.) SS Peter and Paul Catholic School received an allocation of £8,900 for the academic year 2016-2017.
